(b)भारतात कोणत्याही सभागृहाचा सभासद नसलेल्या व्यक्तिची पंतप्रधान म्हणून नेमणूक होऊ शकते. / In India a person who is not a member of either House of Parliament can be appointed as Prime Minister.
In Britain, conventions dictate that the Prime Minister must be a member of the House of Commons (lower house). In India, Article 75 allows a person who is not a member of either House of Parliament to be appointed as Prime Minister, provided they get elected to either House within six months.
