Privacy Policy

MPSC PYQ (mpscpyq.in) is a free tool for practising past MPSC exam questions. This page explains exactly what it collects and what it does with it. The short version: practice needs no account and stores nothing about you on our servers; signing in stores only what's needed to carry your progress between devices; nothing is ever sold or used for advertising.

Using the site without an account

Every practice mode, the Concept Graph, Trends, and a one-off Knowledge X-Ray work fully signed out. When you use them signed out, your answers, streak, and review schedule are saved only in your own browser (localStorage) — they never reach our servers, and clearing your browser data erases them.

If you create an account

You can sign in with a one-time email code or with “Continue with Google”. Authentication is handled by Supabase (our database and auth provider). We store:

• Your email address, and — if you use Google — your name and profile picture as provided by Google. We request only your basic profile and email; we never get access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or anything else in your Google account.
• Your practice history: which questions you've answered, whether you got them right, your difficulty rating, weak spots, review schedule, and any private notes you write in the Manifesto feature.

This exists so a signed-in account works across your phone and laptop and so features like spaced review and your All-India Mock Rank are possible. Your notes and history are never shown to other users.

The Telegram reminder bot

If you choose to connect the optional daily-reminder bot, we store your Telegram chat ID so the bot can message you. Disconnecting it, or blocking the bot in Telegram, stops this.

Payments

The one optional paid item (Founding Access) is processed by Razorpay. Card and payment details go directly to Razorpay — they never touch our servers. We receive only a confirmation that a payment linked to your email succeeded.

Analytics

We keep a minimal record of how the site is used so we can improve it:

• Aggregate page views and performance timing, via Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. These are cookie-free and not tied to your identity.
• A small set of first-party events (for example: “an X-Ray was started”, “a practice session began”) with a random per-visit ID that is not linked to your account. No third party receives this.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use Google Analytics.

Who your data is shared with

Only the service providers needed to run the site: Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Razorpay (payments only, if you pay), and Telegram (only if you connect the bot). We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising or marketing by anyone.

Deleting your account and data

Email mpscpyqin@gmail.com from your account's email address and we will delete your account and all associated practice data. Signed-out data lives only in your browser, so you can clear it yourself at any time.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or who we share it with changes materially, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
