Terrestrial radiation

खालील विधानांचा विचार करा. / Consider the following statements. आता सांगा की / Now state whether :

(a)तपाम्बराचे तापमान सामान्यतः वाढत्या उंची बरोबर कमी होते. / The temperature of the troposphere generally decreases with increasing altitude.

(b)तपांबर हे सूर्याकडून लघु तरंगाच्या स्वरूपात येणाऱ्या सौरप्रारणाच्या शोषणाने नव्हे तर पृथ्वीच्या पृष्ठभागावरून होणाऱ्या उष्णतेच्या वहनाने तापवले जाते. / The troposphere is heated not by absorption of incoming short wave solar radiation but by transfer of heat from the earth's surface.
