पाच एकसारखे डबे आहेत. त्यात वेगवेगळ्या वस्तू बंद असून, आतील सामग्रीचे विवरण दर्शक लेबल डब्यावर पुढील प्रमाणे लावलेले आहेत. सामग्री - लेबल दोन चेंडू - BB दोन पेन - PP दोन घड्याळ - WW एक घड्याळ व एक चेंडू - WB एक घड्याळ व एक पेन - WP कोणीतरी या डब्यांचे लेबल्स अशा प्रकारे बदलविले की, कोणत्याही डब्यामध्ये ती सामग्री नाही, जिचे लेबल त्या डब्यावर आहे. जर WB आणि PP लेबल लावलेले डबे उघडले आणि त्यातील चार वस्तूंपैकी कोणतीही घड्याळ नसेल तर WW असे लेबल ज्या डब्यावर असेल त्या डब्याच्या बाबतीत कोणते विधान सत्य असेल ? There are five similar boxes, having labels, indicating the description of the items contained in them, as follows : Items - Labels Two Balls - BB Two pens - PP Two Watches - WW One watch and one Ball - WB One watch and one Pen - WP Some one has changed the labels on all the boxes, such that, no box contains the items, as per the label on it. If the boxes with labels WB and PP are opened and no item is watch, then which statement will be true in case of the box, having label WW ?

Since labels are completely misplaced and opening WB and PP yielded no watches, logical deduction on remaining box contents reveals that the box labeled WW must contain exactly one watch.
