सात व्यक्ती A, B, C, D, E, F आणि G आपले व्यवसाय वेगवेगळ्या सात शहरात करतात. ती शहरे चेन्नई, बंगलोर, हैदराबाद, मुंबई, अहमदाबाद, जयपूर आणि भुवनेश्वर आहेत. परंतु याच क्रमाने असतील असे नाही. ते डॉक्टर, इंजिनियर, फार्मासिस्ट, वकील, काऊन्सलर, प्रोफेसर आणि आर्टिस्ट आहेत. परंतु याच क्रमाने असतील असे नाही. A फार्मासिस्ट आहे आणि भुवनेश्वरला प्रॅक्टीस करतो. D बंगलोर ला प्रॅक्टीस करतो परंतु तो डॉक्टर किंवा आर्टिस्ट नाही. हैदराबाद मध्ये प्रॅक्टीस करणारा प्रोफेसर आहे. G काऊन्सलर आहे आणि मुंबई किंवा चेन्नई ला प्रॅक्टीस करीत नाही. E वकील आहे आणि अहमदाबाद मध्ये प्रॅक्टीस करतो. F चेन्नई मध्ये प्रॅक्टीस करतो. परंतु आर्टिस्ट नाही. C मुंबई ला प्रॅक्टीस करतो. तर खालीलपैकी व्यवसाय आणि प्रॅक्टीस चे स्थान यांचे कोणते संयोजन बरोबर आहे ? Seven persons A, B, C, D, E, F and G are doing their professions in seven different cities viz. Chennai, Banglore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Bhuvaneshwar, but not necessarily in the sequence. They are Doctor, Engineer, Pharmacist, Lawyer, Counsellor, Professor and Artist, but not necessarily in the sequence. A is Pharmacist and practises at Bhuvaneshwar. D, practises at Banglore, but he is neither Doctor nor Artist. The person, practising at Hyderabad, is a professor. G is a counsellor and does not practise at Mumbai or Chennai. E is a lawyer and practises at Ahmedabad. F practises at Chennai but is not an Artist. C practises at Mumbai. Then, which one of the following combinations of profession and place of practise is correct ?

By systematically mapping each person (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) to their respective cities and professions using the given clues, we find that the combination 'Artist - Mumbai' corresponds to person C, making option (d) correct.

एका टेबलावर गणित, हिंदी, मराठी, विज्ञान, इतिहास, भूगोल आणि समाजशास्त्र या सात विषयांची पुस्तके एकावर एक ठेवली आहेत. इतिहासाच्या खाली भूगोलाचे पुस्तक आहे व ते मराठीच्या पुस्तकाच्या वर आहे. समाजशास्त्राचे पुस्तक इतिहासाच्या वर असून त्यावर हिंदीचे पुस्तक आहे. गणिताचे पुस्तक विज्ञानाच्या पुस्तकाच्या खालीमधून हिंदीचे पुस्तक सर्वात वर नाही, तर इतिहास व भूगोल, तसेच समाजशास्त्र व हिंदी या पुस्तकांंच्या जागा आपसमात बदलल्यास मध्यभागी कोणते पुस्तक येईल ? Books on seven subjects Maths, Hindi, Marathi, Science, History, Geography and Sociology are placed one on top of the other on the table. Below the history book is a Geography book which is above a Marathi book. The Sociology book is above the History book and above Sociology book is a Hindi book. The Maths book is below the Science book and the Hindi book is not at the top, then if the places of History and Geography, also Sociology and Hindi books are interchanged, which book will be in the middle ?

By setting up the initial sequence of books based on the given clues, we get: Science, Maths, Hindi, Sociology, History, Geography, Marathi from top to bottom. After interchanging the specified positions, Hindi becomes the middle book.
