A can contains a mixture of two liquids A and B in the ratio 7 : 5. When 9 litres of the mixture is drawn off and the can is filled with B, the ratio of A and B becomes 7 : 9. Using the replacement formula or ratio method, when 9 litres of mixture is replaced with liquid B multiple times, the initial quantity of liquid A can be found by working backwards from the final ratio 7:9.
