नागरिकत्व कायदा 1955 अंतर्गत, खालीलपैकी कोणत्या पर्यायाद्वारे एखादी व्यक्ती भारताचा नागरिक बनू शकते? खालीलपैकी योग्य पर्याय निवडा : Under the Citizenship Act 1955, by which of the following ways can a person become a citizen of India ? Select the correct answer using the codes given below :
(a)भूमी अधिग्रहीत झाल्यामुळे / By incorporation of territory
(b)वारसा हक्काने / By descent
(c)जन्म भारतात झाल्याने / By birth
(d)राष्ट्रीयीकरणाद्वारे / By nationalisation
(e)नोंदणी द्वारे / By registration
The Citizenship Act 1955 provides five ways to acquire citizenship: by birth (c), by descent (b), by registration (e), by naturalisation, and by incorporation of territory (a). Option (d) here says 'nationalisation' (राष्ट्रीयीकरण) — the state taking over private assets — not 'naturalisation', so it is a distractor. The correct set is therefore (a), (b), (c) and (e) — option 4.

(c)भारतीय राज्यघटनाच्या भाग 4 मध्ये नागरिकत्वाची तरतूद आहे.
India has a single citizenship system adopted from Britain, and the Citizenship Act was enacted in 1955. Statement C is incorrect because citizenship is in Part II, not Part IV.
